Student Run Clinic
Johnson City Community Health Center
Many graduate health science students possess a distinct passion for humanitarian service and community activism. As such, Quillen students are working with the Johnson City Community Health Center to further engage with individuals suffering homelessness and to foster mutually-beneficial, longitudinal partnerships in the community. Under the supervision of faculty physicians, students will be running a weekly clinic at the Downtown Day Center in which high-quality, free care will be provided. While seeing patients, students will be working to holistically address relevant community needs and empower marginalized populations in pursuit of health equity.
